Helping Authors Across The USA
Book Marketing on Amazon Begins Early
Many authors spend 50–100 on ads, get a few clicks and only sell two books. The problem often isn’t the ad. It’s the book page that fails to turn clicks into sales. Think about it from the reader's side. They click your ad, land on your page and see three reviews, a description that reads like a back-cover blurb from 1998, and a cover that doesn't look like anything else in the genre. So they hit back. You paid for that click and got nothing. That's why our book marketing on Amazon always starts with the listing.
A few things we check before spending a single dollar of your money:
- Would your cover fit in next to the top 20 books in your category? Or does it stick out in a bad way?
- Do the first two lines of the description make someone want to read the third?
- Does the Look Inside preview start strong, or with four pages of acknowledgments?
- Is the price right for your genre and page count?
